Biokos™ is an extract from a naturally-occurring microbe. It is highly effective at killing the parasite Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, which causes the disease known as parasitic white spot (or simply ‘ich’) in freshwater finfish. 

White spot is well-known to keepers of ornamental fish as a common and lethal disease. It is also one of the main disease problems facing farmers of freshwater fish – a global industry worth more than €200 billion (FAO data).
